As fall approaches, I’ve been working on adding in some transitional pieces and accessories to my work wardrobe. I need to dress professionally and conservatively, but many days it’s still hot enough around here that sleeveless is the only way to go. I found three tanks fit the the bill perfectly – this ruffled one, this cowl neck one and this flattering black one. I typically throw a blazer or cardigan over the sleeveless top in case of a cooler morning or blasting AC in the office.
No matter what I’m wearing at work or on the weekend, I always accessorize with a watch. It’s really important to me to be able to easily keep time at work or home. Plus, I think a watch adds an element of refinement & class to a woman’s ensemble. Being a working mom makes me constantly aware of time; I’m regularly checking my wrist to make sure I accurately time my pumping sessions, or to make sure I leave my office in time for my next meeting. At home and on the weekends, I still reference my watch quite often to make sure I’m sticking to Taylor’s feeding/napping schedule, or that we’re not heading home from a date night too late.
